Across the entire food chain, there is increasing attention for the optimal (re)use of raw materials and to reduce waste. This trend is important because there are many (often inefficient) steps between creating a product and putting it on the table with the consumer. If we pay more attention to the effectiveness and efficiency of the chain, waste can be minimized as much as possible. Everything used should be reusable. In order to achieve this, smart production methods and materials are required, taking optimal reuse into account beforehand. For food, the benefit is mainly in reducing waste and creating more sustainable packaging. When looking at the chain, the return of phosphate, nitrogen and calcium to the farm and the efficient use of protein sources for food versus feed are important aspects.

We help sustainable food companies to innovate faster and communicate with more impact. We do this by offering accessible and crystal clear consumer insights

In collaboration with other impact-driven food-chain organisations we enable and seduce consumers to make more sustainable food choices.
