In December last year, the first Harvest of the ‘Nederbanaan’ was a fact

Short chains, minimizing transport and thus emissions, energy consumption and pollution. Ideally, as much food as possible is produced within the Netherlands and in the immediate vicinity.

What about products that do not grow in the Netherlands? The ‘Netherbanana’ is already a success. The first bunches were harvested in the greenhouses of Wageningen University last December.
