Big Food Responsibility

More and more large food manufacturers are really taking their responsibility when it comes to sustainability. This trend is important because scale and reach of these companies means that they can make a real impact. There is no more space for window dressing and green washing. Consumers also see through this more easily. Large companies are making big changes, making production methods more sustainable and putting more sustainable products on the market. More sustainable and healthier options are highlighted. For example, the recipe with more vegetables (and often vegetarian) is now the main option on Knorr’s meal packages. There is still much to be gained, but the responsibility for sustainability is taken seriously by the big players.
