Algae: superfood and CO2 slurpersThe British start-up Arborea has developed a new kind of solar cells: Bio Solar Leaf panels. They look like solar panels, but instead of generating energy, the panels grow algae. And these algae can be used as an ingredient in food because they are full of protein, antioxidants and other nutrients. At the same time, the system extracts CO2 from the air and produces clean oxygen 100 times faster than trees do.
